Drama Stars is a performing arts school run by Sally Marie Curtis, an actress and Performing Arts teacher with over 35 years experience in the industry. Drama Stars was born in 2017 in the living room of a West Hampstead flat where we introduced drama for toddlers aged 2-4.  The school has since grown with the children.  We teach dance, singing, acting, creative drama such as masks and puppets as well as filmmaking. Although we encourage high standards in these disciplines it is more important for us that the children have fun and this is when they achieve the best results.  We provide a safe environment in which the children can experiment, offer opportunities so that they can take the lead in their development and give them the encouragement and praise in order to build their confidence and for their true personalities to shine.

Sally is a musician and singer; playing the piano and trumpet and performing in musical theatre and choirs.  Teaching experience includes mainstream primary and secondary, further education and children with special needs.

Before Drama Stars was born, Sally was the Head of Media Studies at a mainstream secondary school and then the Head of Drama and English at an independent school. Since graduating from East15 Acting School Sally continues as a professional actress for television and theatre.
